Deacons Zanza Bee is a 16.1 hand dark golden palomino double registered
AQHA / PHBA, who also has his certificate with the Foundation
Quarter Horse Registry. He was purchased as a weanling at Lloyd Geweke's
complete dispersal. Lloyd is the breeder of the great Zippo Pine Bar,
Mr. Peppy Burner, Scarborough Fair and many other champion performance
and halter horses, many of whom have gone on to become legendary world
class producers. |

SIRE:
Zanza Bee, bred by Carol Rose, was unshown due to injury. His full brother, Zan Partender is an AQHA
Versatility Champion with 239.5 points in 16 events. His full sister,
AQHA Champion Zan Parr Primrose, was the 1990 AQHA All-Around High Point Jr. Quarter Horse and 1990 Res. All-Around High Point Quarter Horse in the
World. She has accumulated 426.5 points, with multiple event High-Point Awards and World Show
Placings.
Zanza Bee sired several offspring before his death, many of which
were shown and won consistently in various classes. There are multiple ROM
earners, High-Point earners, World Show qualifiers and placers.

GRANDSIRE: Zan Parr
Bar was AQHA's first 3-Time World Champion Halter Stallion.
He was the 1977 World Champion Three-Year-Old Stallion, twice
World Champion Aged Halter Stallion, the 1977 High Point Halter
Stallion and 1979 AQHA High Point Steer Roping Horse and an
AQHA Champion. He is the earner of 602 points in 6 events: Halter,
Western Pleasure, Reining, Heeling, Heading, and Calf Roping. As of 1997 Zan Parr Bar's offspring had earned in excess of 24,000 AQHA points with 39 World Champions and 30 Reserve World Champions. He was a great sire, producing a line of horses proficient in
Roping, Reining, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Trail, Driving,
Hunter classes, and Halter. |

PATERNAL GRANDDAM:
My Lady Diamond, was a Pleasure Futurity winner and Register
of Merit earner. She is a daughter of the great foundation sire, Jackie Bee.
DAM:
Deacons Jackie, a palomino mare by Deacon Jack,
1977 World Champion Two-Year-Old Halter Stallion, AQHA
Champion, Superior Western Pleasure Horse who also had performance
points in Hunter Under Saddle, Heading and Heeling. Deacon Jack is
by Two Eyed Jack (#1 All-Time Leading Sire of AQHA Champions,
a Leading Sire and Leading Maternal Grandsire.)
2nd DAM: Beth
Harlan, is a halter and performance point
earner. Her sire, Harlan, was a prominent foundation sire who has been on
multiple Leading Sires lists. His offspring have been extremely
successful in both halter and performance classes. Beth Harlan's dam, Beth B, was an AQHA Champion. |

Deacon's Zanza Bee stood to the public for the first time in 1996. We have
utilized cooled, shipped semen with Deacon with excellent results since approved by AQHA in 1997. He will stand to a limited number of mares in
2008, with the majority of those utilizing
cooled shipped semen.

Deacon consistently passes on his quiet disposition, correct conformation and pretty head to his foals. He sires well-balanced foals with flat, soft movement.
They also inherit his extraordinary cow sense and athletic ability,
making him an excellent cross on working and foundation bred mares.
Zan Parr Bar and Two Eyed Jack's legacies of versatility in
their offspring was the reason we became involved with these bloodlines.
Deacon's offspring are currently in training for Western Pleasure, Halter, yearling
Longeline, youth events and cattle events. Deacon is the sire of

We welcome your inquiries about breeding to Deacon or purchasing a foal by
him. We also have a few mares in foal to Deacon for sale at most times.
A
negative Coggins test in the past six months and a copy of the mare's registration
papers must be presented when the mare is delivered to us.
Deacons
foals are eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund
and the Crossroads Stock Horse Association Futurity.
Special consideration is offered for pointed, proven, and multiple mares.
Contact us for a 2008 breeding contract.
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required on all horse purchases.
